Thomas C. James, Jr.
Mr. James, senior associate attorney with Sanders & Associates, is admitted to practice
law in the states of Ohio, Georgia, and North Dakota, as well as to the bars of
the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the United
States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Mr. James graduated with honors from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a bachelor
of arts degree in political studies and then from Emory University School of Law
in Atlanta in 1992.
Practice areas include business and corporate matters, insurance coverage, crop
insurance, commercial litigation, family business matters, customs law, creditors
rights, and appellate practice. He has been involved in or has appeared in legal
matters and investigations in several states, including Alabama, Arkansas, California,
Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North
Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and
Washington.
Formerly, Mr. James worked as general counsel to a regional customs brokerage and
freight forwarding business, serving in both a management role and as a technology
and computer-networking consultant.
